Who Owns Animal Control and What To Charge County Residents? City of Glen Rose 9/13/2016

from City of Glen Rose Town Council meeting 9/13/2016. I did three vids. First, here is a chop that includes selected parts of the discussion, the second is just the discussion of the fee schedule, the third is the full information from the meeting. Basically, there was some confusion at first about who actually owned the animal shelter, the county or the city. Christy Cavness, city secretary, pulled the file which showed the City owns it (the file also contained interlocal agreements up through this year). Tammy Ray had submitted a proposed fee schedule for county residents. Note when you listen that the proposed fee schedule is for you bringing your county animals to the shelter, not for getting picked up; the animal shelter will not be doing pick-ups.Apparently also the county owes $58,000 from last year, but, according to Sam Moody, an invoice had not been submitted to Brian Watts, county auditor.

Property description from Somervell Cad search, as owned by the City of Glen Rose
