Probably by tomorrow I will have the portion of the City of Glen Rose Budget Workshop for August 22 2016 that I recorded (I did not stay for the entire workshop, left about 8:30 pm.)

Due to a large kerfluffle this last week over a Facebook post from a no-kill shelter, I was interested to hear all Animal Control related comments. I spoke with Tammy before the meeting and she told me the post on Facebook by another entity was erroneous but on the plus side, had brought some more interest in adopting animals to the Glen Rose Animal Shelter. 

First up, Judge Danny Chambers of Somervell County sent a letter to the Glen Rose City Administrator alerting him that Somervell County will no longer be providing any funding to Animal Control for FY 2016-2017.

Second, Tammy made a comment impressing that Glen Rose Animal Shelter is not a no-kill shelter.
