I see a lot of people on Twitter who are still for Sanders EVEN THOUGH he has now endorsed HIlllary Clinton. Why? Sanders has already given up and capitulated, has Knelt Before Zod. I read a bit ago that during a roll call later, he's going to give all his delegates to Clinton. IF that is 1, then the fighting going on now is a last gasp protest against Clinton. And assumes that people even want to be part of her corrupt party.
DWS got booed this morning. There is a whole sleight of hand going on about her right now which is disgusting. She resigned from the chair, but still showed up to lead the Florida delegation breakfast. Here's what happened. (video at the link)
And from Jonathan Turley -Wasserman Schultz Booed Off Stage By Florida Delegation . . . But Given Job By Clinton Campaign
Yet, in coming DNC interim chair (and Clinton supporter)Donna Brazile is calling for Wasserman Schultz to have a role at the convention as a reward for her past work. In an equally tone deaf response, Clinton has givenWasserman Schultz a formal job with her campaign — as opposed to the informal job that her critics have long alleged. The fact is that Wasserman Schultz has from the start been the most controversial DNC chair in the party’s history — well before the entrance of Bernie Sanders. Her tenure has been divisive and destructive for the party. The effort to reward her by party insiders like Brazile and bring her into the Clinton campaign only reaffirms the disconnect with voters.
I donated to Bernie Sanders campaign. Not sorry I did, as I wanted him to win and HIlary Clinton to lose. But his endorsement of Cilnton is not enough to sway me to vote for her, nor the cries of "Loyalty to DNC" when I see the DNC was actively trashing Sanders when supposed to be neutral. I thought I'd have a lot more angst and anger over this whole debacle, which I still want to watch from afar from a news feed, but I don't. Just disgust.
And yet Hillary seems completely oblivious: "I am grateful to Debbie," Hillary wrote (yeah, I bet you are). "There’s simply no one better at taking the fight to the Republicans than Debbie—which is why I am glad that she has agreed to serve as honorary chair of my campaign’s 50-state program to gain ground and elect Democrats in every part of the country, and will continue to serve as a surrogate for my campaign."
Ack! Gosh! No! Stop! Hillary! People don't like her! What are you doing! You're campaigning for elected office — the one job that you have right now is to pander for ratings, and you just hugged Doctor Pulaski when what we need is Beverly Crusher.
"You will see me every day between now and Nov. 8 on the campaign trail, and we will lock arms and we will not stand down," Debbie said. Oh God, Debbie, no. Stand down. For Heaven's sake, stand down. Get out of the way. One Ted Cruz is enough.
