An interesting point I did not know is that when Karen Burroughs was secretary, she didn't actually do her own notes but instead only signed her name to the finished product. It was Mina that did them.She was voted in tonight to be secretary.

The Luminant trial regarding the valuation of the plant was held on Feb 15. Judge March 10. Ruling was in our favor. 2.2 billion. We went in budgeting based on 1.9 bil, The judge signed final notice on May 4, Luminant has 30 days from May 4 to pay amount or appeal. If they do appeal, either they have to pay taxes at that time, and if judgement overturned, we have to repay or 2nd option, they can post a bond. Bottom line is we're not real sure, waiting to see. Impact to us: on 2.2 billion the plant owes 1.9 million dollars, doesn't include penaltiesand interest. Paid on valuation of 990 million. We did have to make a bond payment thereafter on Feb 15 of 600,000. Second bond payment 215,000 due in August.
As an organization to offset, all administration are cutting 10-20 hours out of pay, taking voluntary days off without PTO. Administrators have been asked on voluntary basis. Directors have cut 8-16 hours out, given up hours to offset. Sending staff home if census is low, PTO sale annually -employees more than 5 years can sell PTO, postponed that at this time, waiting on plant decision. No paid travel by employees, education pay has been limited as well, unless extenuating circumstances. No salary increases in June. Any vacated position will be admin approval before they can be filled. Employees have voluntarily done things to help weather the storm. (Margaret Drake-how many positions?) Housekeeping director turned in his resignation today. nursing and staffing postions are taken care of. Going through all supply orders to see if necessary. 2nd and 3rd measures if goes longer than 30 days. Currently negotiating for a potential line of credit.

He also attempted to prevent another 4b member from giving me a public record AFTER a meeting. I also expect he read my pieces on SR2O. He also acknowledged video, on his SaveChalkMountain.com site that I recorded of his Save Chalk Mountain campaign. AND Darrell Best has also posted on this site numerous times, including THIS comment which was made to MY post (with MY screen name and photo) about my hub going down with my camera to record an Austin meeting re: Save Chalk Mountain.
