David Brock doubles down on hypocrisy- Socratic Gadfly

The former hitman against the Clintons, now the hitman for them, has the hypocrisy to lecture the media, via Media Matters for America, on honesty in political coverage.

As the Daily Beast — NOT a conservative outlet by any means — notes here (andothers have made similar observations), he and his various shell organizations have lied repeatedly about Bernie Sanders in this election cycle. If not outright lies, MMFA, Correct the Record, et al, have engaged in heavy "spinning" of the type Brock claims to worry about.

Almost from the very moment Bernie Sanders ran for the Democratic primary ticket, he's been treated non-seriously by corporate media. I'ts always astounding to me how he can win states over Hillary Clinton but there is usually a disclaimer regarding him. Even though Clinton didn't drop out the race when she was losing to Obama, there is this weird expectation that Sanders should. Nope. I've gotten where I just don't watch any portion of a news show that has pundits on it. I just want the news and then, admittedly, I want to hang out with Bernie Sanders supporters, why shouldn't I?
