Saw yesterday that Planned Parenthood decided, despite being for ALL women, despite this being before even one primary, and despite there having at least waited until AFTER the primaries last year to endorse a candidate, to suck up to Hillary Clinton. I can't imagine why Planned Parenthood would want to do something so divisive amongst the people that have supported THEM, but I suppose Planned Parenthood no longer cares about my support. The next time I get a letter or email asking me for money (and I get those because I HAVE sent money to PP in the past), I'm going to make sure to contact them to have them take me off their list. To be clear, it isn't that I would have any problem at all with Planned Parenthood supporting Clinton IF she made in into the general election, but supporting her now is a finger in the eye of female democrats, including me, who despise Hillary Clinton.

The day before this Debbie Wasserman Schulz got criticism for denigrating younger women for being complacent about abortion. 

Kierra Johnson, the executive director of Unite for Reproductive and Gender Equity, an abortion rights group, suggested young people view women's health issues from a different perspective.

"There is energy among young people around these issues -- it just may not be happening in the way that Rep. Wasserman Shultz is used to seeing," she said in a statement. "The young people that are drawn into this movement today don't see reproductive justice as wholly separate from LGBTQ equality or from racial justice or economic justice or a host of other issues."

Some progressives, unhappy with Wasserman Schultz's leadership of the DNC, used the controversy to call for her resignation.

Progressives have also accused her of favoring Hillary Clinton's run for the Democratic nomination by limiting the number of Democratic debates. The Florida Democrat has said the debate schedule was put together without any single candidate in mind.

If DNC wants to depress the vote, keep DWS in place.
