In short. The Reinkes, who own Inn on the River, wanted to sell their property to a company that would operate a rehab center. Glen Rose attempted to prevent them from doing so, and the 249th District court ruled in favor of the Reinke's. The City of Glen Rose then opted to appeal the 249th district court decision, filed in May 2015. Both the city and the Reinkes have filed briefs and neither have requested oral arguments. The last action was taken on Nov 4, 2015, and the case is ready to be set in the 7th court of appeals.
