Update: 12/7/2015- The Texas Supreme Court has denied the motion to petition for a rehearing of the case (on Dec 4, 2015) .

Someone left a comment late last night referencing this case, so I looked it up. Basically, Caleb M Byron, who was an employee of Happy Hill, has filed a suit alleging FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act) violation. The complaint was originally filed in the Texas Northern Court but then was transferred to the US Western Division (Waco).

P.S. The other major lawsuit Somervell County Salon has been tracking is now at the Texas Supreme Court. (Motion for rehearing). That case is Dunn v Happy Hill Farm, you can read more about it here, involved  Basically, some employees at Happy Hill were concerned that a nurse was improperly prescribing medication to residents. The employees allege that after they told their supervisors, they were terminated.
