Hahah. The excuse THIS month for this EMPLOYEE of the district who serves AT THE WILL OF THE BOARD is that it might somehow interfere with the lawsuit the Turks have against Ray Reynolds. Because, ya know, you can't EVER evaluate or consider any action with an EMPLOYEE- You MUST keep that person forever until he or she DIES! hah. Can you imagine in ANY OTHER CIRCUMSTANCE, including others at the hospital never ever getting evaluated because the board that is supposed to have OVERSIGHT is too frigging SCARED? I'm guessing these people check under their beds every night and sleep with a nightlight. 

Besides, if somehow something would be brought up in the course of evaluating Ray Reynolds, which Reynolds WANTS done in open session before everyone, then maybe people have a right to KNOW about it. Most of the people on the board are trying to hide anything about Ray Reynolds's performance. Why, if he would have a glowing review that would put to rest anything that Turks have to say? 

And one more thing. Parker says "I believe our discussion of that"... what discussion? Where was that on the agenda?

When Parker, below, per rough transcript, says "our discussion of that".. When was that discussion? It was supposed to be before the public unless maybe "b" that was ABOUT Dr Turk. How would he know iF that was about him? 

Rough Transcript

Harrison: Item # 16. Discuss and necessarily (sic) take action on completion of the evaluation of the administrator/CEO.

Parker: I believe that our discussion of that and the board of directors evaluation, basically 16 through 19 all are going to put us in a position where we might be discussing things that would be adversely affecting a legal issue we have with the Turks at this time and would prefer that we table 'em and after discussion, I'll be happy to make a motion to do that. 

Harrison: I couldn't agree more. Is there any further discussion. So is that your motion to make

Parker Yes

Harrison: John makes a motion to table item # 16-19

Parker Yah, until such time as we do get their legal situation straightened out. 

Harrison: So we're going to table this until we're satisfied with our court proceedings on item # 16, 17, 18 and 19. Is that correct?

Parker Yes

Hankins: I don't think anybody seconded that. I second that. 

Harrison I'm still trying to..get our motion clear. Do I need to read all of these? No? So we have a motion and we have a second

Hankins: I'll second that

Harrison. Any further discussion. 

Harper: I understand your concern, John. I disagree with it. I think these are issues we need to deal with but I understand your concern.

Parker: Thank you.
