Update 8/14/2015 at 5:01 pm : Glen Rose Medical Center has put out a press release about the lawsuit, link here Note that they show that they heard about the Turk's lawsuit via my online media blog Somervell County Salon, although anyone paying attention would have been able to get the lawsuit from where it was openly filed, on the US District Court Western District, in Waco, TX.  I am gratified that they gave credit where credit is due. Somervell County Salon has regularly and frequently since around 2005 when I started the blog posted public open records from every governmental entity in Somervell County, recorded video and audio of meetings, as well as openly available lawsuits and police information. I invite you to join us (over 30 top level posters and many many commenters (example)  and  if you also are an informed citizen in our Glen Rose community and like me and other posters on this site, believe in open government. I am politically a social liberal and fiscal conservative.P.S The press release is really not surprising given that Ray Reynolds blabbed about this action last month in open session of the Budget and Finance committee meeting.

Ron Hankins made a motion to take the advice of counsel and issue a press release to the local paper, with what we have with an additional sentence to cover what we have with an additional sentence to cover the Joint Commission.

Ron Hankins And someone has made sure that there is information out there that we have been sued. People found out and it came out other ways.

John Parker It came from legal operations so it was all legitimate and it is.
