Dr Justus Peters Threatened a Somervell County Hospital District board member with Misquoted Bible Scripture

This actually happened a few months ago, on January 22 2015, at the out of control Somervell County Hospital District meeting that I like to call the Hate Fest. During this meeting, which was deliberately and wrongly publicized by some people as being about closing the hospital (it was NOT), various people stood up to give public comments. One of them was Dr Justus Peters, who is a 501a physician primarily working out of Pecan Plantation Family Medical Center, which, although located in Hood County's hospital district in a gated community, is subsidized by taxpayers in Somervell County. Here was my take. I was, as you can tell, on the left side of the room recording this with my video camera, and was appalled that ANYONE would use a Bible scripture to personally attack and threaten ANYONE, much less an elected board member (and note that Chip Harrison, the board president, did not stop him.) Of course the fact that he was personally attacking my hub didn't make me feel less disgusted.
Ezekiel 25:17 And I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall lay my vengeance upon them.
And here's the screenwriter's version
“The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother’s keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.”
Since that misquoted scripture ONLY appears within that movie, what is the context of the scene in which Samuel L Jackson quotes it? It's when he is threatening somebody and then he and John Travolta pull out a gun and shoot the man in the chair.
You can see the reaction of at least some of the crowd at the meeting. They LOVED Dr Peters threatening my husband. They no doubt had no idea that this was a baloney Bible verse, so this means that so-called christians enjoy presenting themselves as the type of people that would attack, threaten and kill through God proxy those who, though elected, don't happen to agree with them. I have to wonder how many of them turn around the next day and talk about being witnesses for Christ, AS IF ANYONE would want to be LIKE THEM and follow that example. Ugh. A large part of the attendees who spoke actually WORK for the hospital, which doesn't speak too well for charity and kindness, which you would think would be hallmarks of Glen Rose Medical Center. Ugh again.
