Back in November, I asked via an Open Records Request to come in to GRMC with a flash drive to get a copy of the audio file from the Somervell County Hospital District board meeting of November 11, 2014. Sharla Collins of GRMC told me I couldn't use a flash drive, which was fine, but then, without asking, attempted to charge me for a CD. I said I wanted to come in and listen to the audio in person. She told me I couldn't. I wrote a complaint to the Texas Attorney General's office regarding this and today, got back the reply forwarded by Ray Reynolds, that I am correct, that I can in fact come into GRMC and listen to the audio in person.
Here was the orignal request dated November 18, 2014

Hi, Sharla
- I am requesting audio of the Somervell County Hospital District board meeting held on November 11, 2014. I would like to come in with a flash drive and get a copy of the audio at your earliest convenience.
Sharla wrote me back that GRMC was no longer doing flash drives.I can understand this, that even if GRMC was doing it before, inserting a flash drive might introduce a virus. However, I did not ask for a CD to be made and to be charged.
