While video recording the City of Glen Rose Town Council meeting of Jan 12, 2015, there was the following exchange between Dr Mike Jones, Dennis Moore, and Sandra Ramsey. In making a motion, Dr Mike was a little difficult to hear and Sandra Ramsey, politely, commented that she couldn't quite hear what he said because he apparently (isn't on the video) had his glasses in his mouth. Mayor Moore, after seeing the audience tittering, said that he reminded the councilmen to go through the chair to speak, rather than to each other.

I LOVE this.Have said before that praise deserves to go to Mayor Moore for running such a tight, professional city council meeting. In this instance, he ensured not only that Roberts Rules of Order were being followed, ensured that the elected councilpeople showed decorum and respect for each other, as well as tamped down audience disrespect.And this even in a small thing because I am dead sure that Ramsay was NOT personally attacking Dr Mike.
