Glen Rose Medical Center has this amongst their goals for the year, under the section Roger E Marks- to hire a director whose main purpose would be to TRAIN the Roger E Marks Foundation. This is confusing. Is Glen Rose Medical Center actually in charge of the Roger E Marks Foundation or is this something that the Marks foundation sent to the hospital to let GRMC know this is something THEY plan to do? If the latter, then why is the CEO of GRMC meeting with Amanda Stevens? If the former, why would Somervell taxpayers be paying to hire a Director of Development to work on a separate 501c3 organization Roger E Marks Foundation? IF so, then does this mean that any 501c3 organization can expect to get taxpayer money to run? 

I cannot find any hospital named Highland Medical Center but there is a Hill Country Memorial in Fredericksburg, as well as a Hill Country Medical Foundation. There is an Amanda Stevens that is executive director & CEO of the HCMH Foundation.
