I saw an ad in the Glen Rose Reporter this week, it was an ad promoting the CEO of Glen Rose Medical Center.

It is quite a large ad (larger than a quarter page) costing $144 according to the Glen Rose Reporter, and he is not running for office but they felt the need during an election season to promote their people in ads....all while using YOUR TAX DOLLARS to do it. They claim we need taxes because the hospital can't run without it but we see a huge waste of tax dollars promoting its own employees. This is just an example of more poor decisions by the management...and why they need to go! So be sure to cast a ballot in this hospital district election for people that will make some serious changes!

Since they felt the need to bring up Ray Reynolds, the CEO of Glen Rose Medical Center and spent our tax dollars to do it let's take a look at Ray Reynolds a little more in depth. Like maybe why the CEO has homestead exemptions on BOTH his houses in Somervell AND Erath County according to tax records. Yes you read it right, Ray Reynolds appears to have a homestead exemption on his place at 1800 Overhill in Stephenville (Erath County) and his other place at 1183 CR 2022 in Somervell County. You don't have to believe me, you can see it with your own eyes...but you have to ask which place he lives in because that is the ONLY place he SHOULD be getting the exemption.

 (2:31pm 5/2) I just received this file from the Somervell CAD showing that this request just appeared on April 29th from Erath County so Ray Reynolds JUST filed this; and according to Erath CAD Ray Reynolds signed the paperwork on 4/23/2014. Wonder if its related to this ad he knew was coming up in the paper? Or this election? Looks like he has violated the residency requirements of his position for a few years now, what do you think the board will do about it?
