This is just a couple of MANY examples I have showing the incompetence of the current GRMC administration and why they need to be replaced.

I did an open records request asking for the facebook activity log in electronic format for the GRMC account since they have been using it to like comments on THIS election that they are supposed to be holding without bias. Here's the response I get back from Sharla Collins, open records administrator at GRMC:

~~Dear Mr. Harper:

This e-mail is in follow up to your open records request for copies of "all Facebook Activity for Glen Rose Medical Center.

I have been gathering the requested Facebook activity.

~~Pursuant to section 552.261(a) of the Act, GRMC is allowed to recover all costs related to reproducing public information. At this time, GRMC estimates that the charges for copies of the records you requested will exceed $25.00. These records are not obtainable electronically, without printing first then scanning and saving on a CD. Accordingly, GRMC is required to provide you with a written itemized statement of estimated charges:

This is where I shake my head and say really, the facebook activity log is not obtainable electronically? This is just a BIG FAT LIE to try and charge me because you can't even look at the facebook log without doing it electronically. And don't forget Ray Reynolds is cc'd on these threads and does not speak up stating otherwise during the dialog.

Let's try another open records request, this time for some emails...again askin for them in electronic format

~~Dear Mr. Harper:

This e-mail is in follow up to your open records request for copies of "all emails (sent to and from) for all the board members of the Somervell County Hospital Authority, the board members of the Somervell County Hospital District, Sharla Collins, and Ray Reynolds for the period of January 1, 2013 through July 5, 2013."

I have been gathering the requested e-mails. However, due to the significant size and scope of the request, the District has determined the actual charges will exceed the agreed-upon charges by more than 20 percent. Accordingly, below is updated statement of estimated charges.

~~Pursuant to section 552.261(a) of the Act, GRMC is allowed to recover all costs related to reproducing public information. At this time, GRMC estimates that the charges for copies of the records you requested will exceed $40.00. Verification from our IT department determines that these records are not obtainable electronically due to the email system we currently have. Accordingly, GRMC is required to provide you with an updated written itemized statement of estimated charges:

Really...emails are not obtainable electronically and you would have to print them and scan them into a cd? Really...what do you think the E in email stands for? Again with Ray Reynolds on the cc line!
