I'm amused at the idea that anyone would be so scared to have people come listen to audio and commentary that they would propagate such a silly rumour. Hah. It's sort of cult-like, eh? As in, Don't Read That, It Might Cause You To Think or Pay No Attention to That Man Behind the Curtain or If You Listen To This Audio of a Government Meeting, YOU WILL DIE ("The Ring" style).

If we were doing this site to make money, rather than having a place to express ourselves, we would have given up a long time ago or would have stopped posting content directly from the source and  posted pictures of cats instead. Apparently the Somervell County Hospital District is afraid of having an informed citizenry who might be paying attention and LISTENING to what they're actually doing.
