Update: Well, that was the latest I have stayed up in quite a while. Turns out that the vote was actually taken after midnight AND THEN SOMEBODY WENT IN AND CHANGED THE Record Vote page at Texas Legislature Online to make the vote really happen the day before. (In other words, cheated and FORGED the vote date to make it appear like it happened before midnight). What whoever did that didn't count on is that there were not only screen shots but apparenty AP had a video of the page being changed. After 2:30 in the morning, I forget exactly when, Dewhurst came out and said SB5 didn't pass.
