Wow. I came across this the other day when I was looking at how Rick Perry invited a rocker wearing a confederate flag shirt to play at his 2007 inauguration. This was the speech Rick Perry gave BEFORE the party. But even more than that, compare that to his bigoted The Response prayer party, where it's only some Christians that are okay to come, not Catholics or Methodists or Jews or Muslims or atheists or anyone else except the views those cultists have, like that the statue of liberty is a demonic symbol (Sorry, I LOVE the statue and what it represents. It's AMERICAN even if it came originally from France).  Anyway, I love this part. Too bad it isn't 1 for Rick Perry, who rushed to get a bill against sanctuary cities included in a special session of the Texas lege. And who also can't seem to make up his mind about whether he's against gay marriage or not.
