I was reading an article a bit ago from the Hays Free Press about who was possibly going to run in US District 25, a district that was newly redone in this last Texas Lege session. The district is a very odd shape and cuts Erath County in half, in fact right through Tarleton University. We here in Somervell County were previously in District 17, which ran to the east. Now, we're part of this peculiar woman-mandering district that goes all the way down to part of Hays County and includes also part of Travis County. I had read some speculation that this was done this way as a favor to Sid Miller. Sid Mller says this, while discussing whether Michael Williams will run in the district.
