The fire started in Bosque County. I heard that Bosque had no fire ban in place and that this was to be a 'controlled burn'. Now, I don't think you have to be some kind of expert to have noticed the extreme drought we're suffering and the Red Flag warnings we've had for days with the high winds and low humidity to figure out that maybe NOW is not a good time for a burn. What's the matter with people? One sad thing I've learned over the years is never to underestimate the poor judgement and stupidity of others.
