One of the issues I have with an events coordinator using 4b tax money and paid BY the Chamber is intensified with the knowledge that that person would receive bonuses paid by the Chamber, unless the Chamber would pay bonuses across the board, regardless of who booked the event. (haven't heard that spelled out). Would the chamber events coordinator get *dibs* on venues before other 3rd parties? The actual people who book are at the city or county, of course, but should there be the ability to book up venues way in advance, FOR the Chamber? Seems like there is possibility for some unfairness towards non-Chamber events.

The Chamber of Commerce sent out an email to members and, noticeably missing from the events listed on the right, are Christmas in the Park,and the Arts & Crafts Glen Rose Meander, neither of which are sponsored Chamber events.
