Saw a comment a bit ago that said that and have just confirmed (thank you, anonymous!) that he has definitely been fired, don't know the reason yet.
UPDATE: Have heard two possible reasons. One, that he had missed at least one day of work without calling in, and two, that he may have refused to take a drug test.

Paul, u are correct. I did say that there were 3 people on that receipt. Incorrect, yes! Deceptive, No. That's what I was initially told when I investigated th situation. I later corrected my statement to any one who asked. I see alot of mis informed remarks from people commenting on here. I don't call them liars. I just assume that they are mis informed and in most cases that is the issue. The problem is most people do not take the time to investigate, they run with the first thing they hear.
As far as Barbara lying, no way! Barbar is one of the most honest ppl I know. She was the one council member that was encouraging th rest of th council to go take our continued education classes. Barbara wanted to do things right and help, not only th City but th citizens. When she cancelled those meetings, it was during th same time we were getting slot of pressure from the salon abt open meeting act. So, she suspected, then researched and cancelled. That's just simply putting two and two together.
Paul, although I sometimes think you dig to deep, I also believe that you have brought attention to alot of things that needed changing. So, other than saying Barbara was not being honest, I would say she was just implementing a subject that you brought awareness too. So maybe give her more gratitude for making a smart move. Again, just another good choice by Barbara that goes uncredited
