Remember how we posted the job description the other day that Ronald Bruce, City of Glen Rose supervisor, came up with for someone to run Oakdale Park? We thought at the time that it was woefully lacking in someone who was experienced and responsible. Last night, the city voted  on hiring a manager, and it used the same description. C'mon. How do YOU hire for a job? Isn't the LOGICAL thing to do to make your job description FIRST and then hire FOR the position. How are you going to make sure you have the best qualified person if you don't have the description locked down in the first place? You do NOT just put an ad in the paper  and "see what we get".
