I've asked this before- is it okay that Darrell Best, on the board of the private Chamber of Commerce, asks from his position of the public 4b/GREDC board for a regularly funded employment position FOR the Chamber FROM 4b monies? That isn't a conflict of interest? And doesn't it beg the question of what Billy Huckaby's job is at the CVB and what the position HE wants that would be an event scheduler? Mr Best says that this isn't in conflict with what Huckaby is doing with city taxpayer funds with the CVB, but why isn't it?  Seems, at best, to be redundant positions and at worst, what about other entities that would like a piece of that money for some project and who don't have the advantage of the catbird seat?
