I saw that Birdwell wrote an opinion column in the Waco Trib to address the complaints against him both for allegedly voting in two different states and also for whether he has been a resident of Texas for five years. I've said all along I could care less about voting in two states, where there is no apparent concrete evidence;ie, the sign in sheets are not around anymore to compare signatures. But his defense of residency is laughable. Here's what he said.
