Regular Readers here know that I have wondered for quite a while how it happened that Billy Huckaby was put in charge of redoing Oakdale, which is NOT a CVB job but a contracting job. I have looked and listened in vain for a vote or even some discussioni about this in open session in a past city council meeting. The closest I found was regarding that ill-fated design committee, which was fraught with problems, never presented its findings before city council, was never fomally dissolved that I can find.
