I had some trepidation, based on all the hoopla about the census coming out, about what kind of questions it might contain. Was it going to ask me about many teevees we have, or cars, or other intrusive personal questions?
Nope. It's asking the SAME kind of questions the census has for the last century. I see Michelle Bachman is only going to say the number of people she has in the house and nothing else. Of course these idiots who decide NOT to put names or race or other relevant information on the census can be heavily fined or sent to jail. Fine. I'd like to see Bachman in jail.
I have a particular interest in wanting to see this information correctly filled out. That is, as a genealogist, I can trace a lot of my family roots. And, the data that the Census makes available is ALWAYS 70 years behind, so that you can't see, for example, a census from 1990.
Even if not for genealogy purposes, which would, of course, help me either far down the road or future generations, it's completely ironic to see a woman who represents the government and is an elected official, encouraging people to BREAK THE LAW. Ugh. Doesn't Minnesota have anyone that can run against this woman?
