I started to write much more about this as, initially, I was wondering about the propriety of Mike Dooley, who has a manager's lease with Somervell County to run the Expo Center and Amphitheater, creating a new company in which he profits AND coming to Glen Rose 4b preparing to ask for money to help fund his new venture. The lease that he has with Somervell County, however, does not prevent him from doing what he needs to to get more bookings for both places. Seems to be pretty common practice in these types of instances.

I do have a question about where the line is drawn for those who ask for 4b money. I had thought that 4b money went to venues, etc that were located within the city of glen rose. Could, for example, Fossil Rim (in the county) or another business in the county ask for 4b money? How about someone in a different county?

Now, I definitely like the idea of the ampitheatre being used the booked more often, from whatever source, and the show not only sounds like the topic is perfect for Glen Rose but also would be a draw for the area. How much of a draw and are the projected stats realistic?
