In a letter sent home with all students last week, Superintendent Wayne Rotan says Glen Rose ISD will not view the national address. He did offer a link to the national address on the GRISD web site so students and parents can view the address together. He also offered up the computer labs for people without internet access to come in and watch it there. The computer labs are open at the following days/times:
Mondays - Elementary - 4-7pm Tuesdays - Junior High - 4-7pm Wednesdays - High School - 4-7pm Thursdays - Intermediate School - 4-7pm
Just saw a link to Ronald Reagan's Q&A with a school in 1986. Pushing an agenda. Again, if I had had a kid that attended this and heard Reagan, I would have had a discussion with that kid afterwards about it, including whether A. The president was pushing an agenda or indoctrinating people or attempting to promote a particular political view B. The goodness of freedom of speech, even where you don't agree with the person's opinion and C. respect for the presidential office even if you don't like or agree with the person in it.
