Went to the Chet Edwards Regional Town Hall Meeting in Cleburne (Johnson Co) last night and Edwards several times mentioned that he didn't want Canadian style health care. Some in the crowd went wild over this but there was no explanation of what the heck he meant. I myself have no idea why having Canadian type health care would even be an issue, but talking about it seemed to be like a dog whistle for buzzword watching.

While I'm looking into it, I found a very recent article about Canadian healthcare. Sounds pretty good to me. Maybe there are drawbacks. I welcome anyone to put in sourced links to pros or cons of Canadian health care (not just "I heard this or that")
