This is interesting. I mentioned here last week that a DFW radio station used some footage of mine in a story they did about a murder. I actually didn't mind too much since I also create fair use clips from time to time from footage from television stations. As long as copyright permissions remain as they are, when not all, but a portion of the item is used, then it's no big deal.

In the case of the person above, however, the newspaper used her entire column.. with a byline... and without compensation that presumabaly they would have were the writer on staff.
