Well, it would behoove the City Council to revisit this video of two years ago. The River Walk Committee was chosen because of their various talents, skills and knowledge, Yet, as is so typical, others have wrangled their own ideas into the process ("too many cooks in the kitchen") and have wrestled away the original focus of the plan. This is always a mistake. While all, I'm sure, have good intentions, not all have the knowledge and understanding that the designated few bring to the table. There's a reason for appointing a group to direct a project. Let them.

At this point I just wish they would get done.  We live on Banard, nothing like a pile driver going all day, our neighbors and ourselves have seen mice, skunks, and snakes running for cover.  One shunk crawled up on a woman porch and died.  And now ofcourse we get into the usual "cost overrun", I may actually vote for Mr. Bryant next time, if they don't drive him nuts.
