Wonderful article about Rod Hale in this issue. I particularly like the photo of him standing next to *Ruby's Oak". The article has an emphasis on his efforts to build a nature trail for the handicapped.

Also a nice pic about the heirs of Ernest White receiving a plaque. Iremember when he died-hub and I were actually driving down hwy 67 right then right after the accident.

I like this letter to the editor by Bob Lancaster about a bill to audit the Fed (Federal Reserve). I'm in complete agreement with that. Seems like any agency that involves our taxpayer money ought to be completely transparent and accountable to the public.

I see that the Glen Rose Riverwalk project now has a blog!  Very nice picture slide show for first entry!
