As I've mentioned here already today, I"ve been really busy this week with outside chores. Finally got a chance to look at the paper I subscribe to.

Wonderful picture of the Otto-Thomas engagement. Joseph is grandson of Mygnonne (town hall office) and son of Cathy (county clerk's office). The bride and groom are going to honeymoon in Italy and the family going too! Woo-hoo!

I also liked the photo of Ryan Bruce, son of Ronald Bruce, who is going to play NCAA Div III basketball at Hardin Simmons in Abilene.

And who knew? It's the hundredth anniversary since the Adams family found the dinosaur tracks in the Paluxy. Looks like there are plans to commemorate it in the 4th of July parade downtown.

We also plan to eat at the Riverhouse Grill, which recently opened and we have heard great things about.

Although I don't remember seeing it in the newspaper,the online edition of the Glen Rose Reporter newspaper has an article about the City special executive session meeting that was held. Weldon Mitchell was transferred from being Police Chief to the water and sewer department.

Although Mitchell did accept the council's final decision, he did not submit a letter of resignation or ask to be transferred.
