Without our soldiers fighting across the seas the war would just be here on our home land. It would not be our brave men and women fight but every man woman and yes our child of every age fighting. No on like the war but when there are so many countries fighting for power there will always be war. We should just all...All come together and pray for out soldiers and our country. The only way the war will end is when Christ comes. So to all of you that want us, the USA, to stop fighting think of 911, but not in just one city, not one state but all everywhere. Do you really think that if we stop

Mae, what facts can you present tto prove that statement of yours...  that if we don't fight overseas we would have wars here at home?  911 is NOT a fact for your statement.

Otherwise, you are preaching fear as a pretext for war, just as the Catholic Church for centuries has ruled by instilling fear and guilt to get people to do what it wants and says.

I suppose that Christ tale is nice for Christians to believe and have some hope in, but quite honestly, as long as there are humans on this planet there will be power struggles and wars.  When Christ was living in the ancient Roman Empire there were wars and fighting as well.  He didn't stop much of it at that time.

Even Ghandi preached peace and displayed his passive resistance, but that did not work either.

On the one hand you want us to continue to war overseas, but you want peace "when Christ comes".  In truth, "Those who live by the sword, die by the sword."  So, perhaps we should refrain from warring overseas and preach peaceful coexistence as God and Christ would want us to?

You are preaching a "doom and gloom" prophecy.  The truth is that you have no idea what would happen or what is going to happen, no more than the rest of us.  Ongoing fighting is NOT going to resolve much of anything.  Once you fight you always have to fight.  You can't just stop when you feel like it and expect no retaliation for your warring.

I've always thought that the second coming of Christ was a metaphor for the change in consciousness that mankind must achieve in order to understand how futile and obsolete war is. I can't believe that God wants us to live in fear. Fear is the real enemy.

This film clip is beautifully done and is an important window into the reality of what our country has done by invading and occupying another country for ulterior motives.
