There always is an excuse for not fixing public education and intelligently financing it.

 

Every 2 years when legislators meet there is another excuse. After the decade-long inertia,isn't it obvious by now that the Texas Legislature just does NOT want to repair the ailing and financially inadequate system or to do away with the archaic "Robin Hood" clause that is an illegal method approved by the Texas courts, which forces property taxpayers to finance schools outside their district?

 

Once again there are excuses [this time Rep. Scott Hochberg says it's the tight budget], and once again lawmakers failed Texans and Texas children!
