CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLEN ROSE
APRIL 27, 2009 - 5:30 PM
COUNCIL CHAMBERS – TOWN HALL
MAYOR PAM MILLER CALLED THE MEETING TO ORDER AT 5:30 PM WITH COUNCIL MEMBERS CHRIS BRYANT, BARBARA MITCHELL, BOB STRICKLIN, AND ROCKY TERRY PRESENT. MAYOR PRO-TEM RICKY VILLA WAS ABSENT.

1. Executive Session: Pursuant to Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code, Section 551.074 {Revised by SB1851, 1999 Legislative Session}, Council will adjourn into Executive Session to discuss personnel.
2. Possible action on Executive Session.

1. Executive Session: Pursuant to Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code, Section 551.074 {Revised by SB1851, 1999 Legislative Session}, Council adjourned into Executive Session at 5:31 PM.
Council resumed the Special Meeting at 6:41 PM.
2. Action Taken: Mr. Bryant moved to place Chief of Police Weldon Mitchell on Investigatory Probation for a period of three (3) months due to complaints received from citizens. Mr. Stricklin seconded the motion, which passed 4/0.
With no further business to discuss, Mr. Stricklin made a motion to adjourn. Dr. Terry provided a second, and the motion passed 4/0. The meeting adjourned at 6:42 PM.
