Just got the new issue of the Bosque County News for April 1, 2009. Looks like Steven Lange has not been approved to buy yet, but amazingly, another potential buyer has popped up on the scene, Aviv Health Care, that actually might give a better price for what is a very lovely well-kept nursing home. Sounds like the second buyer would be able to buy it outright wihout requiring bank financing.

Incidentally, looks like the Meridian Hospital Board went into executive session illegally, allowing Steve Lange to be in executive session with them, even after somebody told them that was illegal and a violation of the Texas Open Meetings Act. There's an article in this paper about how Moore has filed a formal complaint with the Bosque County DA's Office.
