Couple of Restaurants in Glen Rose I Just Tried that are GOOD! Juliany's and Taylor's Turn and Burn

After we got back from canoeing yesterday, we went home, cleaned up, and went out to eat. I was a surprised that on a Sunday, Juliany's  Italian Restaurant was open till 9, but that was sure good news. First time we had been there and I was really impressed at all the menu choices. The meal started out with a basket of fresh rolls that were delish! Our waitress was very quick and efficient-great service. But what was really amazing was all the menu choices. I happen to love White Clam Linguine.. and there it was along with all types of chicken and veal dishes. I got Veal Piccatta and it was very tasty.

Also went out for lunch a few weeks ago at Taylor's Turn and Burn west on Hwy 67. I think it's only open 2 or 3 days a week, like on Thursdays and Fridays, but boy, the ham and cheese sandwich I got was delish. I heard that the owner had had a restaurant at Tres Rios but opted for having the restaurant in a different location due to the hours. It was very cutely decorated-the tables had brands burned into them, for example, and there were a lot of people in the place for lunch at the same time, Good food draws people.
