More on the Vendor Payments from GRISD-now with TEA account codes

14 August 2008 at 3:52:34 PM

Thanks to Judy Shipman for supplying this via open records requests. I had put up some information before about the money that goes out .. to whom but didn't have the account codes each item was assigned to. Here is the breakdown of who gets paid what with codes. I broke them out into different PDF files and sorted by date. I always think it's good to know how our tax dollars (including from property taxes) are being spent. Here's a link to the TEA account code list.  (Best on the following PDF files to right click and download to look at them, particularly the 199E General fund, which is pretty big).

161E (Locally defined)

163L Locally Defined)

181R (Locally defined)

199E (large file) - General Fund

199L- General fund

199R General Fund

211E- Federal

24oR- Federal

262 and 263-Federal

313E- Federal

423E 423L Federal

698E Federal

Did you ever wonder why the elementary kids have copy paper on their school supply list (I asked a teacher and got a very interesting reason as to why).  You should do some investigating in to that!
