According to the Fort Worth Star Telegram, two women and one man were recently arrested and charged with prostitution and for promoting prostitution.

Lieutenant Don Miller with the Stephenville Police Department remembers investigating the prostitution ring when it was operating in Stephenville from a building located on East Washington Street.

Miller said an informant tipped off investigators, but before the investigation was complete or any arrests could be made, the group picked up and moved to Fort Worth, where authorities there took over the investigation.

On Thursday, the group’s Web site, mytruegirl.com, could still be accessed.

So I looked at the site, which shouts that it is NOT a prostitution service (Yeah. Right)  but oh, boy the pics! the *Buyer Beware page is pretty funny, too.

FW Star-Telegram has more about it. Apparently they went to Bedford!

Authorities began investigating in late June after receiving a complaint from a resident about the number of men visiting the Bedford apartment, Tebay said.

"It apparently was a nice apartment," he said.
