Iraq-Too Dangerous for British Royalty, but Okay for the Commoner

Saw last week that Prince Harry in Britain was told he would not be going to Iraq with the rest of his unit. He was also told he can't go out getting drunk in clubs, as he usually does, because it wouldn't look right that he's out partying while his fellow soldiers are in harm's way.

“We have no right to put Harry under a curfew or to stop him going out for a drink, but it is just a case of him lying low and reining himself in until they are home safely,” said the source. Cornet Wales, as 2nd Lieutenant Harry is known in his regiment, may also be transferred to doing ceremonial duties guarding his grandmother the Queen with the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment. His future role in the army is being reconsidered particularly as now it is unlikely that he will ever be allowed to see combat.

How do *I* see this? That, as usual, people in government's children's lives are of more value than the average person. Same way here, isn't it? You didn't see the Bushie twins serving for their father's mistaken war, nor most of the chicken hawk in Congress' children.
