Pretty interesting meeting. I've made an audio clip of the entire thing as well as some selected bits. One, in particular, with XTO energy, will be going into its own new entry.

What was most interesting to me personally was that there were 3 items on the agenda that dealt with water and/or injection wells. Citizen comment about meeting upcoming on Saturday at 2 at the Citizens center, A new subdivision got the okay-it's in Precinct 2, Judge Maynard discussed whether Somervell County should join Wise, Parker, Montague and Hood in a 5 county water conservation district , and XTO energy was there talking about road improvements, etc. Someone from Kip Averitt's office was there, and as we all know, he's the head of the Texas Senate Natural Resources committee.  There was also an interesting discussion about pay scales for those who work for the fire department, for example, as paramedics.

Finally, there was a presentation about the Amphetheatre and ways to utilize the site for more concerts, etc.

AUDIO-Part 1   Part 2 (Amphitheare presentation and bids)
