If Sid Miller is Against Programs Such as School Vouchers, NAIS and TTC, Why Are They All Now Law In Texas?

From the Stephenville Paper

Recently, Sid Miller has been telling people he is one among the top ten percent of leaders in the Texas House of Representatives. He has also told people (1) he opposes school vouchers; (2) he opposes Texas’ Animal Identification Program; and (3) he opposes the Trans-Texas Corridor. If all of this is true, then I have a question for Mr. Miller: Why are all three now law in the State of Texas?

That is to say, (1) vouchers are now in use in the Dallas school system; (2) the Animal Identification Program is law in Texas and the Texas Animal Health Commission (TAHC) has begun implementation of the program; and (3) the Trans-Texas Corridor is also law in Texas and the Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT) is moving forward aggressively with this project. So, if Mr. Miller is such an effective leader and he opposes all three, how is it possible they become law? And who voted for these programs?

There is only one of two possibilities: Either Mr. Miller is not the effective leader he purports to be or he is, and he supported the above measures. There is no other sensible alternative.
