Downtown with flyers about the Trans Texas Corridor today

I had been thinking about how, even if people have heard of the TTC, a lot don't really know much about it, and decided after mulling it over, that taking flyers downtown to hand out would be the best way to reach people. If, after all, people don't read the newspaper, and someone missed the scant coverage on television, I'd get the chance to explain a little bit what it was and encourage them to call their Texas legislators.

I went out today for about 3 hours and walked around to each store or business on the square and gave out a flyer. Only one person was actually for the TTC, the rest either were against or hadn't really thought about it or didn't know. A few, although they had a business in Glen Rose, live in a different county, which is, I think, great, because then they can take that info back to share with THEIR neighbors as well.

I may go back out tomorrow for a few hours, but this time go take flyers to the stores  and businesses on the highway.
