Mid-January already and I've made progress on some of my long term goals to get done. Started organizing the garage right before the cold snap, I think I'll be able to get quite a bit done on the next day I venture into the COLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLD garage. As usual in Texas, I was wearing shorts and a sleeveless shirt two days ago and am now donning a thick winter coat.

Republicans want to kill ACA without any replacement.
t all started - as most great stories do - when Amanda downed an entire bottle of Fireball within the first 20 minutes of the reception.
Now, the only thing more volatile than a Florida Woman is a Florida Woman with a bellyful of the Satan's Cinnamon Sauce, and within minutes of polishing sugary liqueur to stun a mule, Amanda was off and running.
On Thursday, 007craft posted a video to YouTube that gave viewers a walk-through of an apartment he’d built in a 10-foot by 10-foot by six-foot storage unit. He said that he had lived there for two months and payed only $200 per month in rent. The video went viral and currently has about three quarters of a million views. The thrifty anonymous lifehacker even gave a Reddit AMA yesterday to explain all the nuts and bolts of getting away with this scheme. He said, “I had 24 hour access, I was allowed to be there at anytime for as long as I wanted. The only rule I broke was ‘sleeping’ there.”
U-Haul’s Jeff Lockridge told CBC News, “Though the video insinuates he got away with doing this, this individual was caught and immediately evicted from the facility in November, two months before the video was posted.”
By making this happen without user intervention, the process is seamless and painless for users. But it also means that a billion users are exposed to new threat-models that would be changed if re-keying required user permission by default. In this model, users are vulnerable to Facebook employees snooping on their conversation; to surreptitious court orders demanding that Facebook spy on them; and to changes in Facebook policy that include surveillance of their conversations.
Moreover, because it's possible for Facebook to spy on its users without their knowledge in a system that users believe to be immune from spying, it might be worth a prosecutor's efforts to compel them to do so (while a cryptographically clued-in prosecutor might not bother obtaining such an order if re-keying required user intervention, because suspects might be suspicious of requests to re-key and so discover that they are under investigation).
