Something amazing about life. When a personal situation cleared up around here, I found I have boundless energy. Had the flu about a month ago and was very sick, then the flu turned into bronchitis. You know how it is, it seems like you will be sick FOREVER. And then, when you no longer are, it's the greatest day in the world. Add on top the other good news that came in the form of a win for hub Paul Harper in his appeal against Darrell Best, and life has been terrific since.
Still working on my project. I have made extensive custom changes to the software you can buy, so it was rather tedious to go check and compare where the newest update had changes versus the ones I've made (used Diff). In other words, couldn't simply copy over the new php update files to replace the ones I had. And once I finished the software update, I've decided to go rework a few other things to make them easier, as well as privatize some data. I'm really a software nerd at heart, so this is pretty fun.
Politics. Still for Bernie Sanders and not HIllary Clinton. Ever. I saw a poll on a teevee station the other day that said 32% of Bernie supporters were not going to vote for Clinton. I"m in that number. The way Clinton has run her campaign, along with assistance from big media and the DNC is insulting to long term female Democrats, in my opinion. And now she is pivoting to attract Republicans that don't care for Donald Trump. I don't agree with her values, I agree for the most part with Sanders, and Im not voting the Least Worst this time. Have given this quite a bit of thought. To me, the whole voting system is rigged, and we have no right in the United States to tell other countries how to do elections when we have so much trouble with our own. I don't like the party system, in which you have to declare fealty in most of the primary elections or caucuses for one of only two parties. There will be multiple choices in the general and, after this particular primary season ends, I'm only going to participate in the general, IF there is a candidate I can get behind. Won't "get in line". I strongly believe that it is through one's vote (or specific non-vote) that one gets to choose who will represent me; it's an American value, along with the value of being able to fight for one's candidate, even if that one doesn't win. I always hope that people who are for a candidate are informed on the sources, but even then, even if completely true, if it goes against your own positions and values, you get to vote for who you want, even when the choice has narrowed.
"No support Hillary for its record. Its capitalist policies have killed innocent people all over the world. And her husband [President Bill Clinton] started the Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and for that reason our people in Mexico, is suffering a lot and have to leave their communities to survive. And also because it supports the Monsanto company that produces modified seed and we are seeing more cancer in the community , "said Fatima Garcia who came from Santa Maria to protest Clinton's visit.
I had 8 more goslings that hatched out for my favorite geese, as well as a gosling that hatched out for another family set. I love those birds, does make me feel that if they keep this up, the gangs of geese running freerange in the yard will be daunting to visitors!
Ted Cruz. I"m strongly against that guy, glad he's out.
