Sheriff in order of most votes -  West, Slaton, Dahl, Matheny (no candidate over 50, runoff between top 2 unless someone removes name)

Tax Assessor Chambers (uncontested)

Commissioner Precinct 1 Hulsey, King

Constable Precinct 1 Reynolds, Wolfe

Note that 42.91% of the county's 5,812 registered voters turned out to vote in the Republican primary.

Ted Cruz got 43.76% of the vote, Donald Trump second with 26.75%, Marco Rubio 3rd with 17.73%

Statewide Clinton got 65.18%, Bernie Sanders 33.18% so there was a much closer percentage here in Somervell County. However, note that only 2.23% of the 5,812 registered voters turned out to vote for the Democratic party. One reason might be that the Somervell County sheriff's local race was popular and the candidates were all Republicans, no Democrats.
