I don't have comments enabled on this blog, but I do get email. Faye Ware wrote to say

It's pretty sad to see you mention someone had to tell you that so and so voted YEA to the Trans-Texas Corridor. You should know all the names by heart by now. THEY ALL DID! Don't believe me - read the bills yourself.
It IS sad; seems like I find out something new and unsavory that I didn't know about the TTC on a daily basis. In looking at the TTC, I've looked mainly at what my own House Rep (Sid Miller) and House Senator (Kip Averitt) did, figuring that others would check for themselves and CALL their congressmen to get them on the record. Makes it easy when they all voted for it, though-the whole criminal enterprise must be swept clean.
I've made a full list that names names and gives main district office and what county that office resides in. I've also attached my fancy Word document that is already a flyer to be spread around my county and the state. Post a link to it and let's get the word out that it's time people knew who voted YEA and those up for election better come clean about their vote.

{{EVERY single member of the House and the Senate voted UNANIMOUSLY for TTC in 2003 - 180 to 0}}
Get busy calling. And letting your neighbors know. One thing I have found out is that the people who showed up at the TTC hearings lately, almost unanimously against, at least knew or heard about the TTC-there are a lot of people who have not.
